David Pui, professor of University of Minnesota, the Chinese Academy of Sciences “Einstein professor” during 2013 visited Institute of Earth Environment, CAS from 24 to 29, May, 2013. He give a splendid presentation on 27th May, the title is “An Integrative Approach to the Study of PM2.5 Pollutants: Rationale, Instrumentation, Sources, Effects, and Mitigation by Filtration”. On behalf of IEECAS, Academician Zhisheng An issued Prof. Pui honor certification.
The adjunct professor appointment ceremony was held on the morning 29th May, Academician Weijian Zhou attend the ceremony. President Junji Cao and Prof. David Pui made an cooperation intentions, and formed a formal agreement. Both sides expressed sincerely the will of cooperating and exchanging, and carried on a deep discussion on the issue of exchanging students, researchers etc.
