On March 21, 2016, UK delegation from Department of Geography, University of Sussex visited Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Delegation visited some laboratories of institute, including AMS Center, Core Repository and Tree Ring Lab. Prof. Zhou Weijian, the director of IEECAS presented an brief lecture entitled ” Brief introduction on the status of Xi'an AMS center”, and introduced AMS working theory and application fields to foreign teachers and students. During their visit, the delegation discussed with laboratory staffs on what they concerned.

This visit offered a good opportunity to show the research level of our institute to foreign friends. And it was essential for deepening scientific and technological exchange between China and Britain.
